Teaching
Verse by verse teaching is a cornerstone of Calvary Chapel and CC Pasco is no exception. We believe that our times of corporate bible study should seek to deliver "the whole counsel of God" (Acts 20:26-28). We do this by teaching on each topic of scripture as we encounter it in scripture, never skipping passages of scrpture that may be unpopular or repeatedly emphasizing passages that agree with personal ideologies. We hope this allows the timing of our teaching to be left to the influence of the Spirit and for the topic of teaching to not be dictated by current events in the church body or in the world around us. Although, teaching at Calvary Chapel Pasco does not specifically emphasize some doctrines found in many churches today, such as financial giving, or specific spiritual gifts, we do teach on each topic as we encounter it in scripture.The best way to learn about our heart for teaching is to join us.
